Hallo, kan een hard snoepje je gehemelte zo dusdanig irriteren dat je er een bult van krijgt op je gehemelte? Voelt als een soort van onderhuidse bult, geen enkele pijn.

Sorry the message was typed by my boyfriend but I still have some questions and not good in Dutch.
Last week Wednesday and Thursday i had in total 3 hard candies or so and Friday I felt a hard bump on the roof of my mouth, that on Sunday was at its hardest even with a harder tip, that is now gone. It never hurt, if I hadn’t felt it with my tongue I wouldn’t have known its there.
Sometimes the bump is more prominent then other times, sometimes it feels softer (almost completely deflated) and sometimes it feels harder, but I guess not as hard as it was before. As for visual differences I just see some purplish veins on that spot in my mouth.
What could it be? Is it due to the hard candies/friction? And shouldnt it have gone by a week? Or am I prolonging it by touching the area with my tongue? I have an extreme health anxiety and think the worst very easily.
Not sure if i should see a dentist or if it is exaggerated
Hard candies can cause the problem. But I did give that aswer already. Normaly this recovers in a few days ( if you leave the hard candies). If the complains get wurse, then go see a dokter
I have it since a week but i do keep rubbing it with my tongue so could this be a reason for it not going away? Its not getting worse to be honest 😊 thanks mr John
The rubbing could be a reason why it's still there. Try to avoid it.
